Bespoke tailored men's vintage 3/4 piece tweed suit, circa 1960's.
Matching tweed jacket, waistcoat, breeks & trousers.
Vintage tweed suit jacket is single breasted with pocket flaps, functioning cuff buttons, single vent and has 3 button fastening.
Trousers have twin reverse pleat front with turn-ups, button fly leg and side waist adjusters.
Breeks have button fly, fishtail back, twin reverse pleats, buttons for braces and buckles to knees.
Fitted waistcoat has 6 buttons, 4 pockets and waist adjuster to back.
Makers label has been removed from inner pocket however the buttons on the breeks have the tailors name on these which is F.A Stone & Sons of Norwich.
Stones & Sons of Norwich had been fitting the Royal Anglian Regiment at Sandhurst since the turn of the 20th century, when it was making uniforms for The King’s Own Royal Regiment Norfolk Special Yeomanry.
Condition - Excellent overall, jacket/ breeks and waistcoat are in very good order with only light signs of wear however as shown in photo the trousers have been repaired just above one knee and have some marking to inner lining.
