ALL text , pictures ,logo & trademarks are the property of Tweedmans Vintage " formerly Vintage Whistles) & their respective owners. They may not be copied or used without prior permission . 

Data & Privacy

The information collected from you at the time you place an order ( or those you gift to) will be stored in our database and is used purely to carry out your instructions and action your payment.
There are no circumstances under which, this information might be passed to a third party.
We do not store or share any financial information  shared with us. 

 Terms of Sale

 If for any reason Tweedmans Vintage TM is unable to supply an item you have ordered we will try to offer an alternative. We will supply the remainder of your order and refund the cost of the out of stock item. Any shipping costs incurred by us will be deducted from any refunds given on returned items. Most items are sent 1st class recorded delivery with Royal Mail. If payment is made by 2pm items are usually sent same day. ( Mon-Fri, excluding bank holidays & holiday periods). No responsibility will be taken for problems arising from delayed arrivals. If the deliverer is unable to deliver the goods then postage will need to be paid again by the buyer. We reserve the right to withdraw or alter any product / price or part of our website without prior notice. If an error is discovered in the price of the goods or the of the item(s)  description that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. We shall be under no obligation to fulfill an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price /  has typing errors/ or isn't as we thought . In the event that you order an item and the price published is incorrect we shall refund you fully & cancel your order. You may then order again at the correct price if you wish.

 Only the best quality vintage items are considered for sale. Unless stated otherwise all garments are second hand / used. Please remember that some items we sell are 20 - 80 years old.  Although we do steam suits etc we do not dry clean/wash items prior to sale. We strongly advise having your item cleaned prior to first use. Most vintage items will have been pre -worn so may exhibit light signs of wear. Any noticable faults/defects will be noted on the item page as accurately and honestly as possible howver we are only human so may miss something, should this be the case then of course you are free to return for a full refund. Every effort is made to ensure you receive garments as described on product details page however if for whatever reason you are unhappy our liabilty is limited to a full refund of purchase price. Vintage clothing may not be suitable for allergy sufferers. As vintage items were often sized smaller than modern, we usualy discount any size labels and size them ourselves. All sizes are approximate, we add full measurements for you to check against your own to ensure a good fit.

Legal & Liability

We have taken every care to provide honest & accurate product images for each item for sale on our site. However, due to a number of different factors eg; Internet browsers, monitor colours etc, we cannot be held responsible or liable for any differences in colour between the image and the actual items(s).To the extent permitted by applicable law, and as otherwise specified by us, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. We sell mostly vintage / preworn items and although every care is taken to ensure the item(s)  are free from defects ( unless stated ), in good order and has nothing in pockets / sharp objects etc we cannot be held responsible if this should not be the case, our liability is limited to a full refund on purchase price. By buying from Tweedmans Vintage you ( the customer) accept that items are sold as seen, with Tweedmans Vintage liabilty limited to a full refund on purchase price.

Guarantee:  We feel confident that we can unequivocally guarantee your total satisfaction with our product and service. Again you should note that your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected (more probably enhanced).Under the distance selling regulations you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days.

Law and Jurisdiction: Any contract for your purchase from Chaps & Cads is governed by and has to be interpreted under the Law of England, and you agree that such contract will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
