Mens 70's fashion was all about loud, bold, unique and funky clothing. Mens seventies fashions included suits with wide collars and flared trousers, bell bottomed / flared trousers, big wide colourful funky kipper ties. "Saturday night fever" starring John Travolta really immortalised the 3 piece disco suit of the 1970's with pointed collar shirt.  The 70's 3 piece suits were often bold checks, strong colours and were the ultimate saturday night outfit for young disco goers. In the mid 1970's glam rock was born and with that came a flamboyant peacock era of even louder, glam, and bold patterned fabrics & designs.
